A brand-spankin' new variety show from one of burlesque's boldest voices,Kittyhawk's Canape Hour is answering all the tough questions: Is brevity really the soul of wit? Is the appetizer really the best part of the meal? Is it really rude to talk with your mouth full? An experiment in indulgence, your hostess Kittyhawk Boone presents a curated "tasting menu" of NYC's most exciting and talented bringers of burlesque, comedy, cabaret, and magic - fun-sized acts followed by lightning round interviews, and of course, catered local noshes for the performers and audience. At a breakneck pace, you'll be treated to course after course of delights. At the evening's end, the audience will vote to determine the most amusing amuse bouche, the guest of honor and headliner at the next month's show.
